The SANDRA Book Group
was formed in October 1999 and survived the comings and goings of many
members until the fall of 2005. Our group name is an unfortunate
acronym - Sharing A Novel Discussion, Raising Awareness. (Please see
White Teeth by Zadie Smith for our inspiration.) We rotated the
book choice, asking only for paperback, fiction, and that the current
members have not already read it. We then met in a public beverage
and/or food venue to discuss the book and give it a rating from -5 to
